The stunning watercolour illustration on the card sent to me by Valentina is by Russian artist Anna Mikhaylova. She's best known for her landscape paintings, which are often gloomy with subtle touches of lively colours. 

Titled "Chupa", the painting on my card is a scenery drawn from a locality of the same name in the Loukhsky District of the Republic of Kerelia in Russia.
