Postcrossing: Alice from Taiwan

Travel Time: 20 Days

I received this blingy postcard from Alice, a school teacher based in Taiwan, which is a true thrill, since I've always wanted to visit Taiwan. Not that Alice is inviting me over or anything, but getting a "piece from Taiwan" is pretty cool. I have been to Taipei twice, but that fact doesn't give me much bragging rights, since those two times I set foot in the city, I never exited the airport - I was there just for layovers en route to other countries. Ah, someday...

I wouldn't lie - I had some difficulty understanding her message. I'm guessing
it was translated automatically, since some of the words and sentences just
didn't make sense. However, I pretty much understood the essence of what she
was trying to tell me: that she's a teacher, that she hates the education system
of Taiwan, and that the satisfaction of Taiwanese parents are based on the
grades of their children.
