Here's a treat I received a day before my birthday - a postcard from Russia! This card became an instant favourite of mine for two reasons:
1. The Ivan Shishkin painting ("In The Birch Tree Forest", 1883) in front, which made me want to talk a lovely walk in a birch tree forest.
3. The Sergei Yesenin poem that brought me #feels.
2. And, the fact that Irina took her time to send me more than just "greetings". Sure, I appreciate short messages, but it's not that often I receive a postcard that actually makes me feel like I'm reading a letter from a friend, so thanks, Irina!
